Texas Filibuster in Progress AUSTIN, Texas — Less than a week after a one-woman filibuster and a raucous crowd stymied new abortion legislation that would have been among the most restrictive in the nation, Texas lawmakers returned for a second special session to reconsider the bill. The Legislature reconvened on Monday, but not before thousands of opponents rallied at the Texas Capitol. Headlining the rally was state Sen.
